There are altogether 50 paper presentations mainly from Malaysia and other countries particularly scholars from Finland, Singapore, Philippine, India, Taiwan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Oman, and 4 from Thailand (2 from Khon Khan University, One from Siam University and myself from Mahidol University).
The topic of presentations were very broad involving education, health, mass media, tourism, environment, politics, public services, business administration, local government administration, manufacturing, non- government organizations as well as economic, financial, social issues and intellectual property.
The topic of my paper presentation which classified as social issues, “Public and Private Provision of Oral Contraceptives and User Satisfactions: Evidence from the Kanchanaburi Demographic Surveillance System, Thailand” was interested by many scholars from the floor. I got the suggestions from some of them that PPP should concern not only on user’s satisfaction alone but also the quality of care as well as price of the pill. In addition, more statistic approach should be apply to gain more conclusion than my current binary logistic regression. Tiwarat Tor.Jarern Report
